Mogens and Sheila bring over 35 years of experience to their business. We work on new homes and remodels, refinishing of furniture and cabinetry, as well as faux finishing and wallpaper. Mogens is a second generation painter from Denmark and knowledgeable in most every aspect of painting. Sheila's experience includes years of being a foreman on large commercial paint crews. The two of them have painted hundreds of jobs in the mountain area for homeowners, builders, architects and designers.
We love to transform an interior home or business with a fresh paint finish. We are extremely knowledgeable about all the best products and preparation methods necessary to obtain the most beautiful, long lasting results possible. Whether you are just refreshing your existing paint or going for a dramatic change, we can help guide you in choices about ceiling and wall products, door, window and trim products, stains, sealers, textures, papers, etc..
Sheila attends numerous seminars throughout the year put on by the Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams Paint Companies. We follow the newest home style trends and the color of the year put out annually by the leading interior designers and paint companies. We have all the tools, color charts, and sample cards in multiple sizes so we can help you to be comfortable and excited with your color and product choices.
Painting or refinishing your kitchen or bathroom cabinetry is an incredibly affordable way to make a huge update in the look and style of room. We can help you find the right color, finish - and even hardware - to get the look you are after.
From refinishing fine furniture to sealing reclaimed wood, we bring the knowledge and experience of working with a wide variety stains and sealers so we can prepare and apply a great finish to any wood surface.
We love to create a variety of interesting, exciting faux finishes. We are also highly skilled at matching existing faux finishes when remodeling or needing touch up.
Wallpaper is making a reappearance in modern home design. We learned how to hang paper on numerous jobs in the 1980's and are truly enjoying bringing those old skills back again.
Finish paint is only half the job when it comes to most projects. We expertly prepare any surface before paint: cleaning, sanding, priming, sealing water damage or stains, removing old flaking or damaged finishes, wood bleaching, drywall patching, caulking, etc..... BEFORE we ever begin to finish paint.
After 37 years of painting all facets of mountain homes, we now prefer putting our expertise into mostly interior projects. We only work on exteriors that are small in scale or trim only.
